DNC sets June vote over redoing election on David Hogg’s vice chair role

How many elections does it take before it’s considered a free and fair democratic election?

More than one, obvy. 2-4 it seems.

Even if Hogg is ousted, challenging the democratic seat warmers is still happening.

Why??!? I don’t agree with you at all.

Voting is democratic; surely you agree with that.

+1.

Nothing wrong with fair, democratic voting.

DNC hot on this thread.

lmao.

Democrats vote until they get the desired result. They will hold multiple fair, democratic elections it they have to!

I am not seeing the point you are trying to make here.

This just shows how out of touch the Dems are. It is time to clean house Dems. Wake up or lose to independents.

I warned people when they pulled this in Romania, it wouldn't stop in Romania.

Is Hogg the equivalent of the Tea Party?
Please explain

What was the issue that prompted this revote, or rather a vote to have a revote?

Two pages on this topic and none of the posters seem to know why this is happening.
Or care.

Something about the vote bypassed a rule. The rule about having parity with gender. The whole thing is stupid and I hope Dems continue to lose until they realize how furious voters are at corporate dems and the gerontocracy. I’m putting my money and time in Run for Something candidates and primaries for the FIFTEEN 75+ year olds running for reelection.

Retire, pass the torch. Stop hording power.

He wants to primary all the old democrats and bring in fresh young leaders. And the old guard is not having it. So they will vote and keep voting to kick him out.

Because democracy or something.

If he will get rid of Chuck Schumer I support him.

What about this?
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Rep. Jim Clyburn told reporters last week that giving up his House seat would mean giving up his life. DNC vice chair David Hogg criticized that sentiment Friday, arguing that seats in Congress don't belong to representatives, but to their constituents.

Yup. And that is why the DNC is gunning for him.
