Talking to reporters on Air Force One Sunday, the president said a new documentary about his wife, first lady Melania Trump, would not disappoint. The project, set to be released on Amazon Prime Video Jan. 30, will premiere at the newly named Trump Kennedy Center.

"I've seen pieces of it, it's incredible," he said. "Everybody wants tickets to the premiere. I think it’s going to be great."

Yes she has messed up her face with plastic surgery. She looks much older than she is with all the Botox and fillers.

This seems reminiscent of state sponsored propaganda in other countries. Mao’s wife was in movies all the time and film companies were required to use her in their movies.

True. She hasn't done anything remotely interesting or compelling in her life that would warrant screen time. She has no schooling, no businesses, and no real life struggle. Anything that is even a little bit salacious would have been left out of the movie as well. They might as well have cast her as the new Forrest Gump.

I would assume Amazon/Bezos paid her $40 mn to buy favor with the administration. For Amazon, $40 mn isn't a lot to buy protection from the Trump admin.

I did not know this but looked it up and you're right. This makes this vanity movie even more chilling.

Who will Trump bribe or strong arm next for Melania? My guess is Vogue magazine, even though it's way past its prime. Melania and Trump have always been bitter about the fact that Vogue never featured her on its cover in her role as First Lady (although she was on the cover in 2005: "Donald Trump's New Bride.")
