Out of curiosity, how did you come up with this list? And by detention and relocation, do you mean that of US citizens?

Only Congress can suspend Habeas.Corpus. the only times a president suspended it was when Lincoln did so when Congress was not in session.

So, Trump can try. God help us.

Just stop. Congress has by inaction given all the power to Trump. Trump can do whatever he wants. Trump arrested an elected official on a public streets. Habeas Corpus is gone.

Please identify this official and what street s/he was arrested on. Please also identify any crimes for which s/he was arrested.

Newark mayor Ras Baraka for protesting at an ICE facility (“trespassing”)

He wasn't protesting. The facility is operating without a permit and refused to be served legal notice. He was doing his duty as an elected official.

They also cover their faces and refuse to show credentials-why?

because they ar probably proud boys or 3%ers with police vests and not, you know, actual law enforcement officials.

Didn't seem to work for many ICE picked up.

But that's what they tell you low info clowns

Being in a country illegally counts as stupid shit.

According to the Supreme Court, being in the country illegally, in and of itself, is not a crime. Try again.

Funny how you don't include:
1. covering up an affair with a porn star
2. taking bribes
3. using an un-secure social media platform to transmit classified information
4. backmailing foreign countries for personal gain
5. fomenting a coup

in your list of stupid stuff.

Cite?

Also, Congress writes the laws to determine what is and isn't a crime. The Supreme Court does not.

What "stupid stuff" did the dozens of Venezuelans, who came to the United States legally with absolutely no criminal record, do? I am not even talking about Due Process here. I am talking about the men, innocent and legal, who were accused of nothing. They did absolutely nothing wrong and yet your dear leader has them rotting in a maximum security prison in El Salvador.

How many times do you have to see and hear the same thing to understand?

Maybe the PP was referring to pardoned January 6 criminals who then went on to commit new crimes.

-Daniel Ball: Pardoned for throwing objects at officers. Faced a federal gun charge for possessing a firearm as a felon.
-David Daniel: Pardoned for assaulting police. Faces child pornography charges in North Carolina.
-Matthew Huttle: Pardoned for entering restricted grounds. Killed by police Jan 2025 in Indiana during a traffic stop while armed and resisting.
-Guy Reffitt: Pardoned for obstruction and threats. Faces a prior gun silencer charge (released, trial pending).
-Emily Hernandez: Pardoned for Capitol riot role. Sentenced to 10 years (Jan 2025) for a 2022 drunk-driving crash killing a woman.

Haha.

Oh boy, you are naive.

The whole illegal immigrant thing is a gambit. They are going to strip away rights for all Americans if we don’t fight back right away.
Americans.

340 million people … 340,000,000 … where on earth would they find detention space to handle even 1/2 that?

We currently have overcrowding once the jail and prison population swells above 2.5M individuals. So we would need to expand detention facility by approx 67x.

And who would serve as guards? They would need what? At least 15 MILLION guards? So onboarding of at least 14.5 million new guards, or an expansion of roughly 33x.

Not going to bother with all of the other jobs and parts that are necessary to detain people over time.

Not happening in large numbers. It just isn’t …

Because it was mostly American Muslims and Arabs targeted back then.

Why do they need to suspend habeas corpus for this list? Seems like the usual practices would work just fine.
