Lengthy? How about life with no parole. Or straight to south american prison.

DP. Frankly, I don't think U.S. taxpayers need to pay for their care and upkeep while in prison. They should be deported immediately and jailed in either their home country or any prison that will take them.

As a taxpayer I'm fine with paying for their care and upkeep while in prison in the US because I think the families of victims deserve justice and simply deporting the criminals does not provide that. I don't know any justice system where someone convicted of a crime here would serve in a jail in their home country for that crime simply because they are a citizen of that country. If my family member suffered, I want the perpetrators to suffer too and I'm happy to pay for that.
