The second tier of MLS next 2 will be a lot more competitive than the lower divisions of NCSL.

You're making an assumption that they will have the same roster and we're unable to recruit better players.

Hey you guys are all wrong its the 7th division. They don’t even have enough players. Com’n. Lol

2014B TSJFC Pre-MLS Next (South?)
1 point
0 wins
6 losses
1 draw
-32 goal differential

2014B TSJFC Pre-MLS Next North
3 points
1 win
5 losses
0 draws
-21 goal differentiation

That is how they are fairing against the Pre-MLS Next competition at U12. I think it is fair to say take baby steps and see what you can build and stop hyping up the internet.

All accurate. They played Mid Atlantic Academy league and arm of EDP and got their a** kicked by number 2 teams losing by 5-6 goals. Pre-MLS ….? At best a div 2 team in NCSL is where they belong.

Expect BIG lols when TSJ gets a MLSNEXT spot and VRSC will have to offer other “services”

All of these clubs, including STJ, are functionally the same. Everything is coach dependent. Acting like this one league or club is materially better than another is silly. Virtually NONE of these kids will go D1 or pro and if they do, it won't be because of the club. This we know.

Whatever you believe is 1000% accurate.

The place is completely packed on weekends with tournament. I have no idea if they are profitable.

Parents willing to buy into the hype for “MLS Next” just so they can wear a badge. Lol.

They can barely get field space let alone host a small or full side tournaments.

The tournaments they host are three hours long because they want to remind you how little they care about soccer as a sport. When they tried to do something more complex they didn’t pay their bills at the fields they rented and nearly had a catastrophe.

So what ended up happening here? Did the 2013 team in fact recruit better players, or is the team mostly made up of kids who were playing NCSL 6th or 8th division or whatever? I think we actually know a kid who was on the NCSL team the year before and did not make the MLS Next 2 team for this year. But not sure if that was an anomaly or if they did not offer a spot to a lot of players that were on their existing team?
