In Trump's economy, a 2% drop is a good day.

Right now 10% of US workforce is in manufacturing. If we go back to the 1950’s 30% worked in manufacturing. I guess this is the goal?

Does anyone want to work in a factory if you have a better option? Wow this sucks.

Why are we being forced to abandon capitalism?

How do you figure? Have you been ORDERED to work in a factory?

Of course you haven't, moron.

Ross perot was right.
So chinya could have taken us all down just by refusing to export

If you're a non college educated, non trademan, then factory work is a better option. Call center jobs moved overseas, retail work sucks and so does the gig economy. US union factory workers had good pay, just like German factory workers. They're just much more expensive than third world workers and they get better health, safety, conditions and hours plus a better standard of living.

On average, 30% correction every 9 years. Long overdue.

But this administration also wants to gut worker benefits and protections. So we’ll just be factory slaves.

I hope they gut them. You're so against greed until you aren't.

Please explain how that is "greed".
If the production output of a worker is higher than in the past then why should the worker now produce more for less pay? You seem to be suggesting that all labor productivity increases should benefit the ownership class rather than the worker. That seems like actual greed to me.

The US consumer is paying a 30k tax for made in American cars. It is time to let the Chinese car manufacturer compete with US car manufacturers without tariffs.
