Genocide? Remind us again which group's 1988 Covenant, and which group's revised charter in 2017, both explicitly call for "Islam to obliterate it", in reference to Israel? Oh, right, that would be Hamas.

Read and learn something: https://www.adl.org/resources/article/hamas-its-own-words

Compare Hamas' stated objectives to the ethos associated with the founding of Israel, and tell us again which is genocidal: https://avalon.law.yale.edu/20th_century/israel.asp

Israel killed nearly 50,000 innocent people. That is genocide and you can't spin it any other way. Your propaganda is not working.

Easy - it's self-defense. Release the hostages, surrender. Too hard to understand?

Only Israelis are deserving of self defense, apparently.

Aggressors are usually not able to claim self defense.

Who gets to define who's the aggressor?

Palestinians have a recognized right under international law to resist Israeli occupation under Protocol I of the Geneva Conventions. This right is affirmed in the context of the right of self-determination of all peoples under foreign and colonial rule.

I wonder why that happened? It surely has nothing to do with Hamas hiding among civilians? Surely Oct 7 is irrelevant; the Israelis should just have ignored that, instead of striking back? That hostages are still being held, even after 50K deaths, must mean 50K is not yet the magic number, right?

DP. You could ask the same about why October 7th happened, but something tells me you lack that awareness.

Why do you think Netanyahu waited seven hours to respond to the slaughter of his own people?

Anyone?

Of course. Israel surged into Gaza on Oct 7 in a sneak attack and killed 50K people. Oh, wait. That was Palestinians going in the other direction, to murder, rape and kidnap, wasn't it? But apparently those victims don't count, and the 50K resulting losses in consequence of the Israeli response are shocking! Terrible! Genocide, even! It violates the Geneva Conventions for them to have the nerve to defend themselves! Who could imagine that Gazan aggression would beget a forceful response from their victims? How inconvenient of them to fight back! Don't they know that nakba thing 77 years ago entitles the Palestinians to endless retribution in the form Israeli lives, sexual assault, and kidnapping for some land the Palestinians lost when they attacked the new State of Israel in 1948? And the hostages still being held, well that's an incidental detail, and surely doesn't justify any kind of Israeli response.

Good you clarified that the Palestinians are not actually endless aggressors who are only getting their comeuppance after every conflict they have instigated. Their virtue will its own reward, along with more deaths, of course.

The idea that anyone believe Netanyahu didn't know before and, is delusional. He not only waited, he allowed it to happen.

It is. No acknowledgement of Hamas/Palestinian horrific crimes and their fervent, revolting devotion to the destruction of the Jewish state, only obscene "justifications" (we lost land after we unsuccessfully attacked the Jews to prevent Israel's creation in 1948, and when we tried further attacks in subsequent years, so of course murder, rape and kidnapping 77 years later is a morally suitable response), along with comically lunatic conspiracy theories (Netanyahu secretly supports Hamas!). The chutzpah to characterize pro-Israel, anti-terror comments as emanating from "Nazis", when it's Hamas and their Palestinian supporters who are trying to wipe out the Jewish homeland.

And, most pointedly, an abject and craven refusal to call for the release of the hostages, instead fulminating against the Israeli bogeyman in a facile effort to deflect attention from the obvious reasons for the Palestinian condition - their 77 years of self-destructive behavior.

Easy, AshkenaziGPT - you’re gonna blow a gasket with that much propaganda.

Israel's defense largely relies on callup of forces.

Were the Israelis occupying Gaza on October 7th? They left Gaza in 2005. Hamas should have left Israel alone. It didn't and the current war is the result. Release the hostages, and the Israelis will leave again.
