Dawn Ludeke is being condescending and comabative at the meeting. She is came in ready to be rude. She’s talking to the parents like they were 2 year olds.
It’s basically a meeting to tell us that it’s all done and there is nothing anyone can do. |
“I am more concerned with physical violence between students at the schools” -Dawn Ludke |
She’s clearly more concerned about the Florida-based for-profit business than the school or the voters. Never forget, people. |
Unbelievable. She couldn’t care less about the students or the voters who live Nextdoor. This county council lacks commonsense and prioritizes developers/businesses (like this Florida-based business) over residents and kids. |
I mean, it's 16 people across two homes. So eight people in recovery. I probably have eight people with active substance abuse disorders (including alcohol abuse) within a couple blocks of me, and they aren't even in recovery. |
16+ plus staff and vendors and deliveries, etc. And one driveway between 2 little houses on a cul de sac. People coming and going all the time…at a big for-profit business…next to a school. It’s ridiculous. The county has lost its mind. |
I wonder what the school will do when patients are wandering on the playground or walking across the school property to go to the path in the park?
My suggestion is they videotape it and send clips to the CE, county council, and the school board—reminding everyone that Councilmember Luedtke said there wouldn’t be any problems. |
She doesn’t care. She said she’s highly employable. |
What does that mean? |
They’re all in cahoots: Dawn Luedtke, Craig Zucker.
Luedkte’s husband was an advisor to Wes Moore. The state health department needs to license this Florida business. If Dawn L and Craig Zucker wanted to stop this, they could. They are choosing not to. Follow the money. |
Somebody said they wouldn’t vote for her. |
I attended because I was interested in what Luedtke had to say, and I was really shocked by how totally dismissive she was of the community, even hostile. This is an elected official? |
That meeting was insanity. Luedtke had no compassion and started the meeting with a hostile pedantic tone. Unfortunately, the best way to get the county to be more responsive beyond lawyers would also be getting national media attention involved. MCPS had a non-answer-answet as usual when asked to give their input. |
Tweet at Trump. Or Fox News.
This is the sort of crazy left wing stuff they love to criticize. Of course, MoCo would likely double down out of spite. And it is a Florida-based company that is running the facility. Has the community hired a lawyer? You can’t fight this without one. |
