I thought Wren was a boys name? Is it also feminine or is there a feminine form?

All the Wren's I know are female, under the age of 10.

She probably thinks some names are “too popular” and thinks an obscure name will make her precious snowflake be more unique. Instead it will just cause confusion, mockery and administrative headaches for her kids their entire lives and they will hate her for it later.

There’s a reason names get popular. Popular names are good.

I would have loved to have been a “Weatherly.” my father named me Jennifer because he had never known anyone named Jennifer. He thought it was unique. Lol, lol, lol… there were three of us in every class. We all had to be known by our last initial as well. I hated it.

Not a single popular name today comes close to the saturation of Jennifer. Not. Remotely. Close.

DH suggested Willoughby when I brought up this thread.

Or Wylene.
