I thought Wren was a boys name? Is it also feminine or is there a feminine form?

My great grandmother was “Willie.” Which I have always loved. I like West as well— people use North as a name, why not West?.

We are looking for another uncommon W name.

Now Willow, Willa, Wanda, Wendy etc

Why are you giving your children such awful names?

perfect. Weatherly and Walker and 100% names of exurban strivers. Driving an oversize American car and living in a McMansion in a development called "The Lakes at Briar Woods" does not make you old money. Neither does giving your kid a first name last name.

Projection ^^

She probably thinks some names are “too popular” and thinks an obscure name will make her precious snowflake be more unique. Instead it will just cause confusion, mockery and administrative headaches for her kids their entire lives and they will hate her for it later.

There’s a reason names get popular. Popular names are good.

Walter. It's cool because it's a W name, it has just 2 syllables and also has the "boy name for a girl" thing going on. Walker, Walter and Weatherly.

Stop trying to make Weatherly happen.

I picture a leathered Clint Eastwood type face when I hear it.

I would have loved to have been a “Weatherly.” my father named me Jennifer because he had never known anyone named Jennifer. He thought it was unique. Lol, lol, lol… there were three of us in every class. We all had to be known by our last initial as well. I hated it.

The Willie mentioned above is better for this.
