Hyperbole much? We use the metro every day. My kids take it to and from school every day in the school year (for free). They use it to go to movies and museums with friends. When was the last time you used the Metro in DC? |
HO insurance is impacted by weather. Auto insurers also pay out on cars damaged by stray gunfire. Was a real problem when I lived in Columbia Heights. |
You don’t really live in DC. |
DP Why would you say that? Such a dumb statement. How could you possibly know that? |
DP. I think people really took note of how progressive leaders dealt with crime in the covid/blm era. And it made a huge impression during that time. And it's going to be difficult for Democrats to get back to being trusted. People don't trust Democrats at all when it comes to public safety. |

Yeah, voters would definitley be better off voting for the authoritarian fascist party that is willing to use the military against US citizens on US soil on trumped up nonsense. That's much more "trustworthy" public safety. Eat a huge helping of human excrement. |
Has anyone pointed out that the article OP references is addressing a car jacking fom 2022? |
|
Yeah, a 2022 article in a 2024 thread that someone revived. Distraction. |
And leader spent all of 2022 denying there was even a problem and doubling down on failed policies. It's why 2023 had so many murders. |
Wait, that is cray because I live in a not that great neighborhood in PG and my insurance has gone down. |
How about we send them to Fairfax or Bethesda? |
So true. |
+1 Many of the posters on this forum promote those progressive ideas. |
