If Trump wins, and lets RFK jr ban vaccines, what will happen?

This is terrifying. We have citizenship to another country so could move but how long would it be before this would start to have large scale impact on the population? Could they hit pause on all vaccines nationwide from day 1 or how would this roll out? Not sure if a q for politics or health.

I think that RFK is just trying to make things safe and give people choice. He probably won't ban all vaccines, but may try to come up with a more reasonable schedule or give parents choice on which vaccines to provide without government or big pharma's interference or incentives. I think that he will end the push for Covid vaccines/booster though.

The AAP has overdone it with the ridiculous vaccine schedule. There are a lot of parents who get every shot but draw the line at yearly Covid boosters.
My sister lives in Japan and her kids got half the vaccines mine got. They also split up the MMR into three different shots on three different visits, which they don't do here because they think parents won't come back for all three. They also don't fluoridate their water. I say this because Japan is one of the countries people always mention here as a paradise.

Nothing will happen. No matter who wins. Any changes are on the margins. If AOC was elected there is little she could get done.

aren’t there like no children in Japan? Their fertility rate is 1.2% and they only had 77,700 new babies last year. Not sure they are the best country to emulate.

Japan has longevity and great medical care. The number of children they have has nothing to do with their health care. What is the obesity rate of Japanese kids vs American ones?

No he is like those anti maskers. Remember during Covid when they would go around physically attacking people who wore a mask? It is not good enough just to do their own thing or have a choice. These people want to force everyone else to comply with their radical unhinged world view.
