If Trump wins, and lets RFK jr ban vaccines, what will happen?

Anonymous
Vaccines, fluoride, preexisting conditions (ACA)...RFKJr is a real poison pill.

None of this is happening.

We saw that claim re: Roe too. Even got potential Justices to say so under oath. They lied.

Exactly. These people keep telling us exactly what they’re going to do and his supporters don’t believe them. I don’t understand when someone tells you who they are why you don’t believe it.

Yes, but Trump often fails to properly articulate what he means (and it seems, often does not know himself exactly what he means), and even if he has perfectly articulated what he means, he still has to get it through Congress and the courts. There is no way to ban vaccines by executive fiat, and if he tried, big pharma would quickly get it slapped down. The more reasonable risk is an elimination of vaccination requirements, which is isn't so different from where things currently stand.

Lol he says what he means. The congress and courts do what Trump tells them to do. It is people like you who trumpsplaining it away. Vaccines will be illegal and will not be covered by insurance. You people are unbelievable.

That would be awesome, but even a much younger Trump lacked the ability to actually follow through on his promises. He's all talk and has always been.

Also, the economic impact of stopping vaccine production would be so implosive that I doubt even the rigged Supreme Court would allow it to happen.

Thank you, Pharma, for once.

My biggest concern is that funding will stop going to the rigorous testing needed to get our new vaccines, and to research, and that vaccines won’t be covered by insurance. Stopping nih funding will affect our rivet in so many ways, not just vaccines but all diseases in the USA and other countries we partner with.

Huh, there’s no current law mandating vaccine usage. You want to go to public school, you abide by certain rules for the safety of all the children there. I call that freedom.

omg someone said this website was GOLD during election time, it really, really is.

Insanity. Pure insanity.

The danger of his presidency will be some terrible policy changes and our government will be completely exposed to Russian interference, all classified documents up for grabs to Putin, including lists of our undercover agents and assets (that part happened last time he was in office too). He will also attempt to remain in office and pardon all those who break the law for him and those who break the law along his political ideology. He will install more racist and sexist judges. Essentially, things he did last time to a greater, more organized degree. One pp is correct, pharma donors are too strong and will not let him block vaccination efforts though possibly requirements for exemption will be more lax in some areas.

So vote for him and cross your fingers? No thanks.

No, just vote against him for all the actual bad things he can and is likely to do, not ridiculous stuff like the idea that he would ban vaccines.

Oh FFS, this is exactly why an election that shouldn't be close is. There are plenty of really good and true reasons not to vote for Trump. Making stuff like this up just makes people not trust you. Even if Trump loses (as I very much hope he does), the Ds need to take an honest look at themselves, and their relationship with the truth. The fact that we are thisclose to handing leadership of this country back to a sociopath who does not believe in our form of government is inexcusable.
