Yeah, she clearly doesn’t know her place! How dare her succeed in life! Only people like Trump are allowed to be billionaires and live on lavish estates like mar al lago.

Michelle came down from one of her mansions to campaign for multimillionaire Kamala who lives in the Ritz Carlton and who has a 60 year old white male running mate that has no retirement savings and does not own a single home.

It’s refreshing to hear so much plain truth. Republicans will sniff at it, but then they hate anything Democratic, so no surprise there.

It was excellent. She’s an inspiration.
I worry that it’s preaching to the choir though.

Disagree. Some of it yeah -- she's speaking to a rally full of election volunteers and committed supporters and she's going to build the crowd up. But her pitch on womens issues is not for the choir. I think her comments on womens health, how it impacts women of all ages and doesn't get the attention it deserves, and how Democrats (and specifically women) are the only ones actually listening to women on these issues and fighting for them. Beyond just abortion -- she talked about access to healthcare for girls experiencing painful periods and older women dealing with menopause. It's a broader argument on womens health and I think one that lands. Plus the way she tied this stuff to men and talked about why they should care too.

That whole argument was compelling and well articulated. Right now it's about motivating people to get to the polls and she gave people a lot of good reasons why that's worth it.

She’s the walking embodiment of the American Dream that she tells us with every opportunity doesn’t exist. It’s laughable.

When has Michelle Obama said the American dream doesn’t exist?

Michelle Obama is becoming insufferable. I’m a woman and starting to hate the preaching.

Then don't watch? She's given two speeches this year. Not hard to avoid if it's not your cup of tea.

The Harris campaign is self-destructing by choosing to focus on anti-men rhetoric and fascism claims in the final days of the campaign. This doesn't resonate outside their narrow base of devotees.

Avoided. Did not watch that harpy. Anyways it was her husband who was the President, not her.

So ridiculous. There’s plenty of health care for teen girls and post menopausal women. Just call the pediatrician or gyn. Geez the dramatics over normal bodily functions are really something else.

^^ I say this as a woman who has experienced both.

Doctors are already leaving states with bans and not as many medical students are choosing residencies there.

No medical student sitting on hundreds of thousands of debt is refusing a residency just because it’s located in a red state.

Or 51% of the population, including men who aren’t keen to see those they love die unnecessarily.

The question is why hasn’t there been a great Harris stump speech for her own campaign?

Her convention speech and several of her rally speeches have been really great. Harris' speeches are all > Trump's speeches. And those are the two candidates on the ballot this year. Trump's stump speeches are pretty terrible and ramble about tangents about wind, sheep and Hannibal Lecter. They make no sense. Harris is a good speaker but nowhere near as good as Obama, but honestly no one is as good as Michelle. Even Barack Obama said he couldn't follow his wife!

There is not a single memorable speech that she’s given. Not a single memorable thing that she’s said, except that she apparently grew up in a middle class household and wouldn’t change a thing over the past 4 years.
