My HS kid is driving a 2022 model. My older kid a 2011 model and I am driving a 2012 model.
The safety feature in new cars are very important. Might surprise people but the Chevy Trax and Chevy Trailblazer which the base model is $22,000 for the 2025 model is the number one seller to teenage drivers. Yes teenagers buy them brand new. A used car has way less safety features and break down. And good used cars are like $15,000 to $20,000 and have dated safety features and little to no warranty. My daughter has a job she is saving up for college spending money. And my other daughter is saving up for grad school why would I take the money from them? They save, I have access to see their accounts. And why does my HS daughter need to own a car? she is off to college in less than one year. And my other daughter is going to move out to city or go to grad school in a year or two. Why would she want to buy my old car. Plus who is fixing this car, insuring it, putting gas in it. How does a 16 do this. |
Our Chevy was a death trap. |
| Get her a brand new Mercedes. |
