Eight, she’s 8 yrs older. She graduated college in 2018. He was scheduled to graduate Duke in 2026, 8 years later.

I’ve heard not only has he cut off his family, but also all of his high school friends, coaches and sports contacts from that time. If his family were really the problem, why cut out these people? The alienation and isolation is beyond troubling and sad. If the situation had the genders reverse (a 26 yr old male going to prom with his HS girlfriend, convincing her later to cut ties with all family, friends and HS contacts, following to her college town, and basically being their shadow) people would say it’s abusive at a minimum.

She is 7 years older than he is, per their “anniversary posts” they started dating when he was 18 and she was 25, that’s creepy.

Her parents also seem very suspicious. It appears that the entire family views Kyle as their meal ticket.

It is interesting hearing how Kyle acted during the draft workouts. It appears that the her goal was to get him drafted by the Jazz and not another team. He is easier to control in Utah instead of another city.

I went down the rabbit hole. There are claims on twitter about her going back to February. He was also alienated from his Duke teammates. She sounds crazy controlling and the situation to me seems abusive.

My low level research suggests she circled back to him when he was a high school senior away at prep school, when his NBA bonafides were more of a sure thing. He was a 5 star recruit to Duke. It seems unclear if they were in active communication all through his high school?
