did you know that Biden is old?

I think there should a maximum age just as there's a minimum age to be president. I think capping it at 65 to run, so out of office by 70 is reasonable. That gives a 35 year age span to be president.

I agree. The leading candidates from both parties are too old. The leaders of both parties in the senate are too old. The supreme court judges are too old. The US is ruled by people more ancient than their counterparties in China where the term "old men politics" was coined.

This is my take, too. They are both roughly the same age, and very old.

Only Trump is much more unpredictable senile, because he will surround himself with people who don’t care about Americans or democracy. Biden is surrounded by predictable, moderate people who will not do anything crazy.

And, it is not really his age as much as it is his cognitive decline.
You won't believe that either. All you have to do is compare his speeches from 4 years ago to his speeches today. But you won't do that either.

My mom is five years older than Biden and sharp as a tack. Nothing gets by her and she can talk about politics all day, knowing all the key figures and issues. I’d love to see her debate Biden.

Why isn't anyone talking about Biden being old? How has this been kept a secret for so long??

/s

I am so gd tired of hearing about Biden's age. He is doing a great job as president - and, perhaps most importantly, he is NOT Trump.

The Times also thinks the resistance is burned out. I really resist the idea that the Times is actively trying to usher in another Trump presidency, gd forbid, but sometimes it feels that way.

We're all burned out. We're all exhausted. But I think you will find us crawling over glass to make sure Trump does not get into the WH again.

And yeah yeah yeah, I know you're about to come back with "genocide!" and "the border" and "aliens" or whatever - and I do not care.

The more I hear from people like you, the more I actively don’t care of you and those with whom you make common cause.

Increasingly, I’m going to find humor in your public displays. People like you are unintentionally quite funny!

Mocking and insults are the only consistent principles you guys seem to have. Congratulations.

Wow, if that’s not the pot calling the kettle black, I don’t know what is.

Trump is basically the same age as Biden and far worse off in terms of cognitive decline. In fact most “I *hAvE* tO vOtE fOr TrUmP” people keep saying Biden is experiencing decline but they can’t actually point to anything. Except Hur’s hatchet job, but that being a political hatchet job has about as much substance to it as a Tucker Carlson talking head.

You cannot be serious. This explains so much. You willfully ignore every single example of Biden’s cognitive decline, no matter how many examples are put in front of you. This is why no one takes you seriously. You are not a serious person.

And yet you still don't give examples of that.

Just a reminder: the U.S. electoral college doesn’t reward 2nd or 3rd place candidates. Winner take all is a sh#tty system.

He is still no more incoherent than Trump. The daily stresses and demands of the POTUS position are taxing to the human body and mind. That's no secret. I don't see how anyone can take an honest look and listen to Trump and Biden and determine that they are likely fit to serve as POTUS until 2029. They are the likely nominees and it is what it is but I think it's okay to question how we got here.

LOL.
With Democrats, everything is about optics and appearance.
It is going to take a hell of a lot more than a bit of foundation to convince people that Biden is up for the job.
But, hey - maybe the State of Union address will be his chance to reset perceptions. That is what his campaign is hoping for anyway.
Nothing like setting expectations high....... we shall see.

Biden was old in 2020, and he implied he would only be President for one term.

You mean like letting in millions of illegal immigrants or getting into a war with a nuclear power?

I'm writing in Nikki Haley. I'm not about to vote for these two completely unsuitable old men.

Ha. Not about to waste my time repeating YET AGAIN all the examples already provided for you. Here ya go. Not that you'll bother to read or acknowledge any of it.

DP. No other president in the past couple of decades has *ever* shown cognitive decline as Biden has. The POTUS position has nothing to do with it. When will you people stop gaslighting this away?
