OP spoke of "changed habits" that's why. |
PP is FOS best to just ignore her and her lies about her daughter, |
Still while seemingly the most obvious a change in eating habits and weight loss doesn't automatically mean eating disorder could be many things which is why it's good ops daughter is seeing the doctor. |
OK but the overall weight is also concerning. Sorry to be like the other posters, but my DD, slightly taller, is about 30 pounds heavier, and definitely thin. I am glad she is seeing a doctor. Best of luck to you. |
It could be a number of things. That’s why she needs to go to a doctor. |
Could indicate a ton of things. |
It seems you don’t understand ED is one of a dozen things that can cause that. |
Best wishes to your daughter and your family, OP. There are some really good ED programs in this area. You caught it early, which also really helps. I have recovered from teen EDs, there is hope for a good outcome. |
OP posted that she has drastically reduced her food intake in the last few months. Perhaps you missed that. |
How stressful! Best wishes to you and your DD, OP. You sound like a great mom who is doing all the right things. GL! |
OP - Sending along best wishes. |
And if you have a gastrointestinal or endocrine issue or other medical issue that can also drastically reduce your appetite. So can depression. |
just stop with the contrarian posts. We all know what this is. God speed OP. .I wrote to you about Duke's eating disorder clinic on bout page 2 before the yahoos who have nothing better to do with their lives than be contrarian hoodwinked this thread. Good luck! EDs are very very very difficult for the child and for the family. I wish you only the best. |
