My DD is a strong student but failed first attempt. Only did the practice tests on the website and it doesn't cover everything. This is great advice (numbers) and Dutch reach! Please ignore all these other hateful people. DD is a responsible driver now

Did you read that OP's kid failed not once, but THREE times? Big difference.
I get that every once in a while a kid gets a test that has an unusual number of oddball questions, but when a kid fails *three* times, that's on the kid (and by extension, the parent). Don't blame the test.
Also, as parent, if my kid failed the test twice, I would not have encouraged a third test without some serious review and alternate approaches.

There could be a lot of reasons why a kid failed three times.
My son did.
The first time was because we both had no idea what went into it and thought it was gonna be like the simple test that I took when I was 15. He was not prepared at all. The second time, had studied but he mis-clicked on one of the sign questions, and was immediately DQed. That was terrible. The third time, he was pretty well prepared, and had almost finished driver’s ed, but he missed by one esoteric question. He is not stupid at all, is a great student, and generally does well on tests but this one was just a whole different beast for him.

He finally got it after completing drivers ed. Did OP say if her kid had completed drivers Ed already?

So many REASONS. And I know kids who have failed more than once.

Why the F do you care about some kid not your own failing? You're being super weird about it.

No, you are. Championing OP's kid even though it's obvious what happened as she stated in her OP. All because you have good reasons why you or your kid or their friends had difficultly on the test.
