You need to get out more often. There are many Asian players on the tennis rosters in Fairfax County Public School that are NOT tall. The kid that won three state 6A championship from Chantilly HS is barely 5”8’.

Maybe you need to get out of Fairfax and take a look at top college and pro players.

What exactly do you think is going to happen to the vast, vast, vast majority of varsity student athletes in FCPS?

The fact that you think about this daily really shows how obsessed you are with height. It just isn’t the status marker you seem to think it is.

Nothing..maybe they will hit the ball at the Y with Dad when home for break- like the rest of high school athletes do after graduation

- Andre Agassi: 5”10 and won 8 grand slams in tennis

- Michael Chang: 5”9 and won the French Open

- Leyton Hewitt: 5”10 and won both Wimbledon and US open over 6”+ Pete Sampras

- Rory Mcllory: 5”9 and won multiple golf grand slams

Lots of short peoples in pro sports, including the 5”6 superstar Jose Atuve.
