Is Semi-G gonna cause inequity in appearances? The off label use of Ozempic ethical issue no one mentions

Agree. Plus they shouldn’t be in diet and exercise forum, since it is neither. Post about it in the heath and medicine forum.

If people are taking a Simpich just to lose weight, isn’t that literally a diet?

It already has.

This.

And choice. Ya’ll ever watch the checkouts at Walmart in Maryland?

No one buys apples. There is plenty of 2 liter sodas and bags of chips being rung up.

Anymore bags of apples are cheaper than chips.

What is this use of "anymore?" Is it a Maryland thing?

I am convinced the same group of posters is starting them and they are obsessed and miserable at the idea that weight can be managed through medical intervention.

I know, right? It's pathetic.

I think of it as a folksy midwest thing.

It requires diet and exercise to be effective. And it has health benefits. So it's both.

Oh for God’s sake Jeff has already weighed in on the question of which forum. You people are ridiculous.

I wouldn’t use it unless doctor directed for a legitimate health issue. I think it’s ridiculous that people use it to lose 10-20 lbs. Morbidly obese, that type of thing, due to behaviors…sure, as long as therapy and a prescribed and monitored exercise regimen is also required. As a replacement for actual discipline and willpower? It’s over the top.

No one is saying it is "right" but it is the reality.

I say it's right. Your puritan hangups are yours, not mine. You want to see in people's appearance whether they are "good" and the idea that might be hogwash frightens you.

I agree. The notion that weight loss needs to difficult and/or painful or you're somehow cheating is really absurd. If there are health consequences or side effects, that's a good reason to think twice about the drugs. Someone else's antiquated notion that there's a moral component to good health? Stick it.

No free lunch fatties just remember that

I think you should first address your belief that all poor people are Black.

Yup. signed, poor, white, thin woman.

Same. I am on WW and have lost 10 lbs since last month without blocking my bowels or pancreatitis.

WOW!!! You get the standing ovation for being the most noble and smart today.

I'm assuming you have never taken Tylenol either, right? Because you are so, so smart and have never taken a single medication due to possible side-effects.
