I am a vegetarian and healthy eater and totally agree!
American food in general sucks and I prefer other countries’ cuisines anyway. If I didn’t have a family, I’d rather eat sushi on Thanksgiving Even just a salad is way better than turkey and mashed potatoes.

| We are every bite of our turkey plate at Clyde’s. Yum! |
| I don’t like making most of it myself, but I love eating it! |

It really depends on who is cooking and what your Thanksgiving dinner consists of.
My XH’s family served the same meal essentially as mine (except no cornbread or collards), but everything was so dry and flavorless. Pareve spread/margarine just doesn’t help. I’ve had some good restaurant Thanksgiving dinners, but mostly when we were able to have West African, South Asian, or Middle Eastern cuisine. |

Okay I don't mind the cooking. And all my sides turned out well. We skipped the turkey. But it really isn't good food in general. My kids barely touch it. I don't know
Next year we will have enchiladas or something |
You're so cosmopolitan and classy! Not at all a weeb! |
Apparently you are outvoted... |
This why are you spending all day cooking. I started at 8am stopped and 10am. Resumed at 12:15 we ate at 1. Made a pie and cake the night before. But I usually make 1 or 2 a week so it was routine. |
| I love Thanksgiving food. My DH cooks so all I have to do is eat it, and he really enjoys cooking it. Win win. |
| I love Thanksgiving food too. My Turkey is always moist (I brine) and I include various flavorful chutneys to jazz things up. So yummy. I’m sad we are down with our leftovers. |
