""I don't know if someone has him, or — because he has Down syndrome. He's nonverbal; he don't have any ID, or any identification, no cellphone,” Hall said."
Put contact information on your non-independent kid's clothing, folks. |
+ 1 MILLION!! |
+1 or other ID. Also, I'm truly sorry for the amount of time he may have spent in an isolated room with no food, etc but perhaps better than if he'd been on the streets and vulnerable to those with bad intentions. |
A metro employee found him, not God. |
God kept him safe. |
Lol too bad god wasn’t looking out for the folks in Maine. Or those in Gaza. Or Israel. Guess he was busy. |
|
So thankful that he was found and is now safe! I’m so relieved for his family.
What an ordeal for both the young man and his family to go through. Hopefully the local authorities and Metro will have a better and more effective response should anything similar happen in the future. The limited — or at least delayed — media coverage was also concerning although it may not have affected the outcome of this particular case that much given where he was found. |
MCPD announced it immediately, then again a few days later in both English and Spanish. It was one of the rare cases they published an bilingual announcement. |
| So glad he was found! |
| Oh my. This is such good news. He’s so happy. 😭 😊 |
I agree with you but you can work on being kinder. Let people have the beliefs that bring them comfort, sheesh. |
