Which of these schools have engineering as strong or stronger than UMD

OP here, to be clear he will also look at schools that have club or no water polo, but he’ll do that in junior year like everyone else. This is just about getting on coaches’ radar so that if he decides it’s what he wants the door is still open.

When that happens I will come back and you can list all the other engineering schools.

FWIW my kid attended one of the schools being discussed here. Graduated in 4 with a BS and MS in a STEM subject while playing their sport. In fact, senior year, their team made it to the NCAA championships. Granted my kid wasn't a major contributor during games, but was still required to attend all practices/lifts/extra meetings and games. It's tough but doable.

A “STEM subject” means not engineering. Bio maybe.

It’s not for us but you are correct that it has NCAA water polo and engineering. I took it and West Point off the list.
