Who is next. Pierce Brosnan?

I liked that they beat down the “he is so hot why is he with her” criticism for so long

Pierce Brosnan’s wife was freakin hot, though. She just got fat after kids. The Jackmans didn’t really make sense in the same way…

Even now, the Brosnans relay heat and romance. Never any of that with the Jackmans.

I posted the original post about Brosnan. And you guys are right. Difference.

Yup.

OP here. Yeah, I was thinking that too. I wonder if he'll come out? I'm rooting for him if that's the case. I found out my dad was gay after he passed away and I remain really sad that he never got to live his life fully and authentically.

What? Why would you think he's gay?

NP. Dude.

Ha ha ha. I cackled.

You might be right, but I think we are in a different era, and not just of acceptance, but also sex in movies. There are no real sex scenes anymore. Jackman can continue in his semi-chaste leading man roles and as Wolverine with no problem. He might even be cast as a main gay lead.

On their 27th wedding anniversary in April, the Greatest Showman star posted a loving nod to Deb, 67, and their bond on Instagram, sharing in part, "I love you so much. Together we have created a beautiful family. And life. Your laughter, your spirit, generosity, humor, cheekiness, courage and loyalty is an incredible gift to me."

Those undying love-professing social media posts are the last gasp of a dying relationship.

This is decidedly unromantic IMO. Love, but not passion.

He’s aging out of those lead romantic roles and is done with marvel so if he is gay now os a good time for him to come out without dealing with the crap backlash from all the marvel fanboys. I think he’s like to age into playing smart thoughtful roles like Ian mckellan, who does just find as an out gay man. I’m not saying Hugh is gay but I think it’s way easier to be gay as a sophisticated actor in your late 50s than as a. Up and coming 30 year old actor.

If I were to ever make a social media post on my anniversary, I'd probably write something very similar. Does this mean I'm gay??

There was much more romantic language he could have used.

Well, it means you're not very romantic. That's language for a best friend and partner not a lover and love of your life.

Yes, this is a good point. I want that for him.

I don’t think he’s gay at all. Does marrying an older woman mean you’re gay?

According to you and you only.

Yep, when I see friends do this on
FB I know there’s trouble ahead.

Good thing I’m not even friends with DH on FB! Knock on wood…

Actually there are two of us - I wrote the decidedly unromantic post and a DP wrote the other one. Sorry you don't like opinions other than your own.

No, being gay with no history of romantic attraction toward your wife means you're gay.

I recently found out that my MAGA dad was gay. I am also very sad and confused. He was so straight acting that he was a macho, misogynist jerk.

I guess it's what they felt they had to do

Np. My MAGA-adjacent FIL is gay. Still closeted but living with his "friend" (who has been open the past few years). But like, everyone has an unspoken agreement to pretend they're just roomies. Anyway... he's still as Republican as ever.

People who read this will be like big deal, so what. And his kids and grandkids are all very liberal and accepting. But... the guy who is racist and old fashioned and pretended to be a devout baptist all his life was probably living this double life all along. It's mind bending.
