The jury in the federal trial concluded that Trump digitally penetrating E. Jean Carroll did not meet the NY Penal Laws definition of rape.

Yesterday, the federal judge in that case ruled that the jury did find that Trump committed RAPE as the term RAPE is commonly used. Therefore Trump was found to be a RAPIST in his federal trial, just not under the NY legal statute.

That was not my question. I am asking if there were any claims made by Carroll in this case(apparently there is another defamation by Carroll that has not gone to trial) that was rejected by the jury.

Read the thread, the last few pages cover this. https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/405/859014.page
He was not found liable for rape but he was found liable for sexual assault and defamation. Then Trump’s stupid attorneys sued her for still saying he raped her. The judge is clarifying that the sexual assault Trump was found liable for is often called rape in common parlance, therefore saying he raped her is not defamation.

Say it with me. HE RAPED HER.

'Not found liable for rape.' is not the same as accused of rape and the jury disagreed. In light of the latest statement from the judge, I am wondering if there was a specific accusation that the jury rejected, or whether this was just a talking point by Trump. The other thread doesn't provide clarity.

Then find the reporting on the case. It could be that some jurors were in favor of finding him liable for rape as well but not enough.

Was that an option for the jury? Or is this something made up by Trump?

Trump still receives 30%+ support but it will be difficult to parse whether he loses support because he is a rapist, traitor, racist or some other indecency he's committed. He is all of these things but it's amazing what his supporters are willing to support.

Maybe Trump ultimately loses support because his base suddenly realizes that he was a democrat most of his life.

In any event, the news cycle makes him increasingly desperate as he openly calls for retribution against the government as it holds him accountable for his many crimes.

Tacopina and Habba are terrible lawyers, but they are just doind what Trump wants them to do.

Trump is also a criminal, rapist, etc, but is largely behaving in a way that the republican base expects from a powerful leader. Modeling those idiotic attributes that please the base is what's wrong with this country. If Trump saw that his base wanted him to dance to another tune, he would be double-timing to dance that way to cling to power.

How often did we see Republicans eagerly defending Trump’s various misdeeds (a word somewhat inadequate to cover everything from norm violating to felonies)? “Grab them by the p****” - they immediately and vociferously adopted his “it’s just locker room talk” excuse, and then they went on to say he’s an “alpha” and that’s just how they act. His not paying taxes was just him being a good businessman. He is what they want.

and what about Trump having a) a robust woman-like derriere, b) small hands, and c) oddly feminine hand gestures? So manly!

Trump gives voice to the dregs of society.

I’m still glad she’s confirming it. The Trump supporters’ gloating over what they perceived as an exoneration was really something else.

Clinton appointed SDNY Judge? Color me surprised.
