Nothing good ever comes from giving kids attention like that for doing nothing other than being the child of someone else. It is really damaging. I'm stuck trying to think of a superstar who ever had a kid who did the same thing that even approached the success of their parent.

Gwynth Paltrow
Josh Brolin
Liza Minneli
Gerarld Levert

Sick? Seems a bit strong, no? Why not have an heir?

If you can even find any early interviews, you’ll quickly realize she doesn’t interview well.

I think her handlers realized this—especially after Wendy said it out loud in such a blunt way—and they shifted her media approach.

Both Beyoncé and her husband seem dim. I mean, so does Brittany. So does Tori. Most celebs aren’t intellectuals.

And I think their parenting style isn’t admirable. They probably are overly permissive and their eldest is very likely spoiled.

Dim billionaire dad is; Dim half billionaire Beyonce is.......We don't really know how they parent based on what we see in public.

I find it odd that Blue Ivy has been in the public eye and photographed since she was a toddler. The other two children are rarely seen.

Gwynth Paltrow - her mom is not a super star, not even a star. Just an actress.
Josh Brolin - again, not a superstar, just an actor.
Liza Minneli - this is true though a long long time ago.
Gerarld Levert - never heard of him or whoever his father was
Natalie Cole
- her father was a way bigger star than she was. She just really had a moment.

You know how Khloe Kardashian has shared that she’s struggled to bond with her son who was carried by a surrogate?

And remember the rumors that Beyoncé used a surrogate for the twins?

I think the older daughter is their bio baby…and she’s the light of their lives.

Or perhaps Rumi and Suri are shier and not as spirited as Blue Ivy. Beyonce has talked about a traumatic birth experience with the twins, and perhaps this has caused her to take a different approach with them. It could be anything; it's all speculation.

I'm not sure about Sir, but Rumi is named after their favorite poet.

I don’t think she’s all that at all. I do think she works very very hard at being as best as she can. I respect her but I’m not a fan. She does not write her sings and samples. She can’t win best album because of that. No matter how hard she works I don’t think she’s actually really amazingly good. Not her fault. What she can make good she does so I find her to be a great business person v artist.

I'm not debating if she's "amazingly good" or if she's "all that". I think she's just ok. But you are just wrong about her not writing her songs. Yes, the list is long of the songwriter credits on many of her huge hits, but understand that Beyonce uses a lot of sampling and interpolation in her music, and all of those artists have to be credited. So you may see 10 people with writing credit, but it's not what you think of in a traditional sense; 10 come together and come up with the song lyrics. Beyonce does write her songs, and on many of them, she is the lead songwriter. In fact she is the lead songwriter for every song on the Renaissance album. Also, it's not uncommon for her to sample a song that was already sampling another song - and each and every writer on the sample plus the sampled song have to be credited. So it could be a 10-second sample that adds another 7 writers to the list.

Now as far as the Grammys. Well, there have only been 11 black artists to win song of the year in all of the Grammys 65 years. But that's another topic for another thread...

Dp- no one in the industry considers her a song writer. She makes adjustments on tracks for credit is what I’ve always been told.
Maybe things changed for the last album, but she doesn’t play an instrument does she? I’m very skeptical on her writing ability. Lots of singers get credit for minor changes in the studio. Quite frankly it’s pretty crappy, and not fair to the actual song writer.

What industry people have you heard this from? The only industry people I've ever seen make a comment about her in this way were the other Destiny's Child members. They said that she wrote and produced more than they did. If you look at the credits on the Survivor album, it's her and 1 or 2 other writers. How is playing an instrument relevant to the topic? Besides, I can name so many big artists who do not play an instrument. Tina Turner, Cher, Madonna, Stevie Nicks, Selena Gomez, Britney Spears, Ariana Grande.. I could go on.

Playing an instrument makes it easier to write. That should have been obvious. And while some artists can write without accompanying themselves, it’s not as easy, and they are certainly less prolific. The artists your listed are big, but certainly not all known for writing. The 2 that stand out would be Madonna and Stevie Nicks. Of course they both play instruments.
And yes many songs are created from 1 or 2 writers… and then perhaps input from Beyoncé it would seem. I think she is a good interpreter of a song, and that’s a unique talent on its own.
