So stupid. If you think that's the problem you're spending far too much time on Facebook. Boomer |
| The culture of sexual assault— which is not improving— means that highly motivated, highly educated, athletic 18 year old women are not going to join. Which is a problem for the people stressed about fitness, because young men are obese at higher rates than young women. Young women have higher academic achievement. They are less likely to have committed crimes. In other words everything we say we’re looking for in military recruits…but aren’t willing to make basic changes to attract the best. Guess we don’t really care that much about getting fit, smart young people. |
Well said. There is a mission and individual politics/religion has no place in accomplishing the mission. This is true in most workplaces. |
I was in an “elite” units. About half the white guys were real in to Waffen-SS -collecting division patches(Dirlewanger Brigade, etc). Does not sound like you were in a combat unit because that is very common. |

There is no way I would recommend the military. My uncle died of cancer due to exposure to Agent Orange (it was a rare sarcoma that is specifically linked to Agent Orange). His son has problems as well (he was conceived after my uncle's exposure). Congress has yet to recognize that Agent Orange was sprayed on bases here in the US at that time and so those exposed (and who sprayed it) cannot get benefits. It took years for Congress to approve benefits for people who handled Agent Orange on the ships going to Vietnam. They finally did, but they have not admitted that exposure happened on bases here. And btw, my uncle's base here was closed during the base realignment period. |
Toxic masculinity. |
I generally agree, but even with a family, a young soldier should never be forced to rely on food stamps. That’s just demoralizing. Are the Washington elites doing that on purpose, along with all the other current demoralizing mandates? Shame on them all. |
It wasn’t at all. It’s was just politicized. If you’ve been on the military, chances are better you received a more questionably safe vaccine and had no say in the matter. |
Is aluminum really safe? Maybe do a little research. |
Except it wasn’t. There could be no option. The military can’t work from home or shelter in place. You can’t have a pandemic running through ships and barracks and every other necessary close quarters. The US military was largely responsible for spreading the 1918-1919 great influenza and giving it perfect carriers in which to mutate into a deadlier strain. |
I highly doubt our current military had any of the necessary co-morbidities. How many diabetic or obese military people do you know? |
Dude, do your own. Lots of fact checking sites out there. There’s no aluminum in Covid shots. |
DP. That’s not even the issue. It’s a national security issue when squadrons, units, fleets, etc are all too sick to function. And that’s when happens when viruses spread through groups. Just because it doesn’t kill you, doesn’t mean you don’t lose 7-14 of work after spreading it to your co workers who will do the same. |
LOL |
Why the recent spike of athletes dying “suddenly” AFTER they got the vaccine? |
