Depression can feel like circling a drain. I do my best everyone not to succumb to the pull. I can see the fear that one day you wouldn't be strong enough. |

I feel like you've posted about this before! It scarred me and now I'm SUPER careful eating salad, especially if I'm alone. |
Omg I just read this..30 minutes of extreme motion sickness, fear and death. This made my list |

Yikes‼️
This post is already giving me nightmares!! My worst fear of dying is one where I of course (!) am privy to the fact that there is no possible way of living. I.e., being stabbed over + over, being surrounded by immense fire, being submerged underwater in a car or plane, etc. |
That happened to my mom. She was begging God to take her. She lsnguishes 6 months in hospice. My dad recently passed away— basically malnutrition and then aspiration pneumonia due to swallowing problem and sepsis. Was terrible. I support euthanasia. |
Same here. Stuck in the doorway during the Station nightclub fire is pretty high on my list. |
+1. Those afraid of these quick, tragic yet very rare scenarios have clearly never watched a loved one die a slow agonizing death. |
| I’m most scared of dying in a house fire or plane crash. But yeah I think a long, slow, painful death to illness would be worse. |
| Anything accidental that is slow enough to know you are doomed. People trapped in cave in and diving accidents is a huge fear for me. |
I've had sudden and slow deaths of family members, and sudden deaths are far more difficult from a grief perspective IMO. Being able to say goodbye was invaluable and healing for me. |
| being murdered by a sadist. |
| Surprised that so many list fires as a fear. Fire wouldn't even be in my top 10. |
Why not? |
Even without the expense aspect this is the most brutal. I would rather get hit by a car. (And as a cyclist, that's not unlikely, ha )
