| We are another Silver Spring / Kensington/ Oakland Terrace (dual immersion) family who moved from DC. The DC free PK3 & 4 really saved us financially in the earliest years. So much so in fact (plus the relatively low cost of houses here in SS/K compared to the same type house in DC) has put us in a position to possibly go private for grades 6-12. |

| Don’t go to the burbs, go to the country. We live in a very rural area of Barnesville but are still in MC and our kids go to Poolesville. 1 in magnet in HS and 1 in ES. 18 acres of quiet and reflection erases our worries. |
