But apparently no consequences for Andrew and Fergie! Hmmm.

That's a silly take.

How do? Are you aware of everything Andrew and Fergie have done over the years (Andrew being the worst by far)? If this decision is a consequence for what Harry has done, it sure seems like Charles is being hypocritical in favoring his disgraced brother and his ex-wife over his own son. Super petty.

Downsizing Andrew (who has already been PNGed) as a consequence to Harry? That's convoluted.

No. The point is that Andrew has faced little consequence for what he’s done, especially in comparison to what Harry has done and the consequences he’s faced. Charles and the rest of the family are clearly fine continuing to support and engage with Andrew but not Harry. The disparate treatment indicates that they care more about punishing Harry. This is yet another example of that.

Andrew has faced consequences. No, he hasn't gone to jail but, the legal situation isn't clear cut. He can't work as a Royal and has been kicked out of his huge mansion. But, he didn't tell everyone about the secrets of the Firm. If Harry hadn't done his world tour and moved away than none of this would have happened.

Agreed! Charles should get rid of Frogmore and send the funds to Ukraine and Turkey.

Way to miss my point, pp! Congrats!

You're welcome, because your point had no logic to it.

So sorry you don't understand. Poor you. Not even going to bother to explain. You won't get it anyway.

Andrew's consequence is loss of stature, which is the only thing that he's ever really cared about. Royal Lodge requires lots of money for repair, which he can't afford. He's being forcibly downsized b/c he has no money and the royal bank closed when his mom died.

What!
I connected the strings you left dangling.
Don't worry about Harry because there are more tragic matters in the world, right?
Wouldn't it help Ukraine and Turkey if some of those funds actually made it to them since you care so much about their needs?

Yes I think we should focus on people/ issues that are bigger than Harry and Meghan. They act like they are the only ones who have estranged relatives or parents who have died young. Their lives are still better than the vast majority of people. I say we should collectively ignore them.

H&M should absolutely be repaid the money they put into the house.

If I were them, I'd be like "you want to kick us out? Fine, but you absolutely need to repay us the money".

You guys are looking at it from an American point of view. Harry and Meghan may be tolerated more here, and somewhat more sympathetic figures, however in the UK they are largely persona non grata. And that is Charles’ constituency if you will. He’s been saying for years he’s going to streamline the monarchy and its holdings, and this is part of it. I assume they’ll be able to stay in Clarence house or Windsor or Kensington or wherever when they come visit.

I thought Frigmore was a gift from the Queen to H&M?... Why and how can Charles swoop in and "take it back"?

Are gifting laws different in the UK? Was it not a literal gift from the Queen to H&M ? Was the property relinquished when Harry relinquished his role (it was tied to his potential rile as a working royal)?

DP. I think the point that PP is making though is that most normal people don’t get more upset at “telling secrets” as they do at child rape and decades of palling around with two prolific child predators.

The gift was a long term lease on a building that had been used for offices and then abandoned. Then was renovated to be a one family home. I think it’s crazy that they made them pay back the renovations on a rental that they ultimately snatched back.

They made more money trashing the Royal family than the cost of a new home.

It’s not her personal property unlike Balmoral. It’s a property of the Crown.
