King Charles evicts Harry and Meghan from Frogmore

Anonymous
I hope this signals the end of Harry and Meghan’s connection to the royal family. If you want to be on your own then do it. Don’t run back so you can write or film about it. I hope Charles cuts ties with Harry and lets him white whatever nonsense bonus chapter to Spare he seems to be threatening to write.

Please cite where he was accused, tried and convicted? This accusation has been recounted TWICE by two different women who both said they LIED. Get over your personal drama and stop projecting.

Not true in the slightest, he fled from being tried, doesn't make him innocent and the evidence has been all over the place, pictures, interviews, witnesses. What kind of paid pr poster are you to just lie about something well known and established?

It’s laughable how much more willing Charles is to take care of a serious sex offender than his own son and grandchildren, all because one person is more willing to keep his mouth shut and kiss Charles’s a**. Honestly, gross Charles. Clearly a terrible father with serious narcissistic issues.

+1

This is crazy! Charles said he won't leave his brother homeless and penniless.... but he has no trouble doing that to his son.

Um, Harry is not homeless and penniless.

He’s also not a sex offender, like Andrew is.

But whatsherface said she lied. He's not. It was never proven - quit Karen - just stand down.

wasn't she beyond the age of consent?? regrets doesn't equal r#ape

How can he be a child rapist pedo if she was above the age of consent? She must be wrong about her age.

We don’t know she lied, Andrew paid it off, implies guilt.

How?

A) The woman Charles cheated op with while married to their mom, who should’ve been queen, will now be queen
B) They said when they got married she would not be made queen

Let’s not forget all the horrible press stories that came out against Diana prior to Charles/Camiila’s engagement. All done to make the public more accepting of the woman who caused the failure to Diana’s marriage and ultimately her death.

They have always made it clear that they would like to reside in England for part of the year, which presumably would have been at Frogmore. The issue was security, particularly the Crown’s refusal to let them (or their security team) have information from British intelligence about specific threats to them and their children if they return to England. By taking away Frogmore, Charles is sending the message that he doesn’t want them to come back to England for any reason and will do nothing to help ensure their safety if they do.

This is so a vindictive/fu move by Charles. The linked article notes that he began eviction proceedings the DAY after the book was released. That timing is not a coincidence.

Yes, H&M probably would not use it very much of the year. But it's his son and grandchildren! And, it's not like Charles specifically needs it for something else - his sex offender brother? Really?

He's basically saying FU Harry, don't come to the UK.

I was going to make a comment that eventually all of our parents turned our childhood bedrooms into guest rooms, studies, exercise areas, etc.

It's all PR. They publish endless puff pieces about Kate to endear anyone without sense.

Do you think Megz even cares??????

Harry cried Frogmore wasn't good enough for him, and neither was anything else. He trashed his entire family for money and Meg. He doesn't want to be near them. She has dumped HER entire family, we know where this came from. I am sure Oprah or someone has a place for them to crash.

Charles is thinking about the monarchy over his immediate family. He is 75 and must realize it benefits the future king not to have a whiny brother who attacks the monarchy living in property owned by the monarchy. It would look worse for William to evict his brother. And most Britons no longer like Harry so it is unpopular for them to be provided a house from the Crown that they don’t spend anytime in.

Harry isn’t going to stop being the disgruntled brother. 15 or so years from now when Willliam is crowned King, Harry will be out there giving interviews about how awful William and the monarchy are.

So this decision is bad for the father -son relationships but great for the monarchy.

Confused -- did H&M pay for the upgrades or did the taxpayers pay for it? The article you link to indicates that the renovation was taxpayer funded but your post indicates they paid out of pocket.

Not PP but it’s my understanding that it was taxpayer funded but then H&M reimbursed the taxpayers.

Well if true then Charles better be ready to cut them a check because they should not have to pay millions to renovate a house that they lived in for all of a year or whatever. That's ridiculous.

People have lost their minds.

Renovations were paid for by Charles. Harry and M did not have 2 million pounds to spend on renovations.

Charles is giving it to Andrew to get him out of the Royal Pavillion and off to the cottage which is out of the way. It would be a major downsize for Andrew and is a slap in his face. Not a reward.

And the kids never forgive the parents for it. Ever.

Yes -- he is saying FU to the son that wrote a book about him -- as he should. Harry is so unpopular in the UK -- they are not coming back. He is also saying FU to Andrew. This is Charles settling all accounts.
