You are correct. He doesn't even acknowledge any of our current problems thus issues are compounding rapidly.

Wrong. Boring, and wrong.

I will wait for you to post links of any video's of Biden recently addressing inflation, crime, the border and homelessness.

Good luck!

He is actively pretending none of it is happening. It's sad yet totally fascinating to watch him pull this off and the liberals see it happening and they stay quiet about it. So eye opening.

Maybe we need better social safety nets.

How many of these people are illegally here?

The ones I see all look like they were born here, most are caucasian. Many claim to be veterans.

Ahhh, no. They are black 95% of the time.

In my neighborhood, they are all professional gypsy families. They have housing and get dropped off.

I’ve run in to a few gypsies over the years. I still don’t understand their deal. They are European gypsies presumably? Seems like a great piece of investigative journalism waiting to be written. That and how the Patel clan monopolized the US motel industry.

I don’t know if the organized panhandlers, nuisance fake violin players, woman with a baby, etc. are European gypsies BUT - there are clans of Gypsies/Irish Travelers based in the Carolinas and Tennessee. Look up My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding, it all takes place in the South for the most part. Just a quick trip up 95 to get here for most of them. The people who cruise parking lots looking to “get scratches out of your bumper” are also associated with these people as are many unlicensed, fly by night driveway repaving contractors.

I believe they are also known as Travelers or Roma.

Pretty sure "Gypsy" is considered a slur.

Street beggers are never targeted in any mass shooting or violent crime. You would think that they were out and about and a target for deranged people.

I’ve noticed a big change inside my local Target - Tenleytown. I don’t recall ever seeing beggars annd homeless inside the actual store until this year. Now every time l go in there there are homeless urine soaked people you can smell from the next aisle, and beggars who don’t appear to be homeless. I only mention this because it’s a recent change. Makes me wonder how the people working in Target feel about it.

No I think the noun is ok, the verb (meaning to swindle) is not

Also the *massive* housing shortages and the medication shortage. Still waiting for Biden to address these current issues. All the while he's letting thousands of more people into the country each day compounding a housing shortage crisis.

We are all still waiting for the response lol. I guess that's when the thread dies, when all these liberals can't cope or produce facts or videos supporting their president or their own previous statements in this thread. Back up your quotes.

Where did you all?

CRICKETS.

You can always tell a fent/tranq/benzodope/tic/saltnpepper junkie by the smell, the swollen hands, it's so incredibly sad, fast decline, and all consuming. The person begging will probably be dead in six months.

I hate the smell of the smoke, the urine everywhere (it tears the bladder apart, the zombies, and the horrid metro elevator entrances.

Is this what’s going on at union station?

Sadly, yes.

If my DD can't arrive by 6pm via Amtrak from her NYC university, we opt to fly her instead. Union Station after the evening rush is no longer safe. I can't believe I'm saying that as someone who did the DC to NYC commute for years 3 days a week.

Maybe it's because the problem is getting worse. There is definitely a change - I recently saw a women urinating in the middle of the day in the middle of a busy street.

Pearl clutching means expressing fear for oneself because of "street beggars," and not having concern or empathy for the beggars themselves. That's what I'm seeing here.

What? No, I am concerned for myself and my small kids. I feel some empathy for the beggars b/c I imagine many are mentally unstable. I grew up in NYC, I've seen knives on the subway, numerous people taking a dump in the middle of the subway platform during morning/evening rush hour at a very busy station, etc. etc. What's happening now is much worse. And as I said, I've seen it all.
