If you were raised in a card-playing family

Yes! Hugely into cards as a kid (thanks to my grandparents). Was just away with another family over Memorial Day, and we played Hearts, Rummy, King's Corner, Crazy 8s.

I also recently learned a Russian game, Idiot, which was super fun.

I grew up playing Spades, my husband’s family was Hearts. My older relatives all knew Bridge and claimed we would all learn one day but no one seemed to have the same motivation for that one and now they are all gone.

My kids play Spades and Hearts. We will probably teach them Euchre and Pinochle which we learned from friends who play them as their family’s game.

Are those the main 5?

Bridge
Canasta

Little kids card games:

Fish
Old Maid
Another one that I can't remember.

I was playing Bridge, and winning, by age of 12. Sadly, no one plays Bridge anymore.

Uno ( card game I couldn't remember)

But none of my other midwestern folks have mentioned Sheep's Head which is the best game of them all.

My grandparents (originally from Wisconsin) played sheep's head with their friends! I never learned but my brother used to play with them.
