NP, do you mean the big Serrano leg? If so, I am convinced that anyone who buys me this truly gets me as a person. So far, no luck.

You do all of your shopping and then walk out. You get emailed a receipt. You don’t stop to show a receipt, you don’t scan yourself or have your items scanned.

It is the future and it was wonderful!

Umm. That’s how all the Amazon Fresh stores work. There are several here in NoVA.

What does that have to do with Costco? No warehouses have that feature. Yet.

How many masks?

Gee, you're at Costco! I'm green with envy and at a loss for words

There’s plenty near the vitamins, etc. Black, disposable, 50 per box, about $9.

On people.

OP when you do an AMA you need to answer all the questions.

How many masks did you see?

How many masks did you see?

Someone is bizarrely obsessed with masks

You’re free to wear your mask. I’m seeing a general uptick in mask-wearing. But still a small minority.

Please go back and read. Already answered a few pages back.

As masks have been proven to be completely ineffective. I saw zero masks.

Thank the FSM!

I think Costco attracts anxious hurried people. It has a very doomsday feel to it like you are stocking up for the apocalypse.

Not OP but my anxiety goes down at Costco. It’s so easy! I was in and out in 30 minutes last week. I’ve been shopping there for decades though so I know what I’m doing. I can see it being overwhelming for newbies. Weekend nights are easy, or early morning on weekends. It’s definitely a “know thyself” kind of store. Are you really the kind of person that will eat 5 pounds of baby carrots? You need to be honest with yourself. We mostly buy the luxury good but there are some things we buy in bulk because we eat a lot (black beans, yogurt, mini tomatoes). And I like buying TP only once a year.

This made me laugh because it’s so true.

I’m guessing you go to a better location than the other poster. The Gaithersburg location is anxiety inducing!! Seriously can’t get into the store without hearing people honking all pissed off in the parking lot.

This is the pp who wrote about the anxiety, and I was just getting ready to post the same thing about the Gaithersburg location! The anxiety there starts in the chaotic parking lot and extends into and throughout the store.

Fairfax Costco is the most chill Costco. I live in Maryland and shop there all the time. Just went there today.

Least satisfying AMA ever (OP, I'm making my own rules which include not just moving on).

AMA means ask me anything. It doesn’t mean answer anything or on your time. Don’t like a thread, move on.

Love it!!!!

Not OP here. I work 6am-2:30pm in the medical field. I too am at Costco at 3pm.
