Get black cats - their fur will blend into your all black outfit. Plus, you can sneak them onto the plane because they'll blend with you (as long as they keep their eyes shut). /s |
Same. I’d avoid wide legged pants that might touch the airplane toilet. I prefer fitted yet flexible pant fabric that won’t swish and swoosh against dirty surfaces. |
I like your relaxed style! |
I'm confused...you think that looks out together?
|
This is why I wear leggings. Think I'm too fat? Oh, well. |
|
Agree---wide legged pants touching the toilet floor, the airplane floor at my seat? That all just grosses me out. Why wear all that extra fabric?
|
| I wear black or navy joggers with a wide drawstring waist, Rothy's sneakers, a t-shirt, and hip length cardigan. A small crossbody purse and a scarf or wrap for accessories. For overnight flights, I wear a non-underwire bra for more comfortable sleeping. |
I love everything about this. What bag is that on top of the suitcase? I love that pattern. |
Goyard $$$$$ |
| I just wear my normal clothes; jeans and a tee, sweater, button down. I don’t find it uncomfortable. You are just sitting. |
| This whole thread is hysterical. Who needs advice on what to wear when flying on a plane? Wear clothes you are comfortable sitting in for a few hours, so like something similar to what you may wear to telework or go to the office? This is really not hard. I honestly wonder how some of the people who post here function in the world on a daily basis. |
This is the Beauty and Fashion board where people like to talk about...fashion. It's really not hard to understand that. |

I only care about practicality Igor travel days.
I always wear socks. I hate walking barefoot through security screening. I also tend to wear slip on shoes so I don’t need to futz with laces. If it’s winter, I wear a packable down coat that can be compressed into my tote bag. I also like elastic waist pants. No zippers or button fly pants for airports/airplanes. |
|
You don't say how long your flights are. I have a travel uniform for long-haul (basically anything 8+ hours or if I'll be sleeping).
Fashion sneakers Compression socks (not fashionable to wear, but key for actually being able to get my shoes on at the destination!) Fleece-lined leggings Quick-dry dress that is long enough to wear as a dress without the leggings, so that I'm comfortable arriving in a hot climate Zip-up hoodie with zippered pockets Colorful scarf that I can use as a blanket |
| I just came home last night and traveling in Dulles, two different security people I looked nice. I just had high waisted dark denim boot cut slim jeans, black turtleneck, black cowboy boots (under jeans, not over the top) and my leather moto jacket. Comfortable, polished and cool. |
