Well for starters most human pillows have that tag that says it's filled with all new Materials ... what are dog beds stuffed with??.

Fiberglass and asbestos

With a sprinkle of lead and mercury for good measure

Citation for this, or all just a part of the persecution fantasy?

The PPs are joking…

Thank you for clarifying. I am glad to hear it.

Oh my!! I am one of the PPs. I cannot understand how you didn’t get it was a joke. In US dogs are often very spoiled and dog food/furniture/clothing etc are usually made with good quality material

*gestures vaguely at the progress of the thread*

Those look like play cushions not dog beds. Are those children told to stay on the floor and not get on the sofa?

the mattress making industry was in its "wild, wild west " phase. "I mean ... years ago they threw anything they wanted into the bedding," said Terry. "Newspapers, dirty rags, sweepings off the floor, part of their lunches, droppings, anything," — not to mention horsehair, chopped up old hospital or hotel mattress innards, and corn husks. As you might imagine, with fill like this, bacteria and vermin found a cozy home inside.

WTAF? You know this is referencing the late 1800s, right?
