As far as I can tell, they look new or at least clean. They don't have dogs. I think she's using them like floor cushions. It's the material/stuffing safe for people? Should I tell them to get off?
And should I be offended? Or ask her if they are dog beds? |
You're joking, right? I think this is a very clever idea! |
| I think it’s fine. My dad one time got a dog toy for my DS, it was an angry birds thing and he didn’t realize it was for dogs. Maybe your SIL was mistaken too. And yes, of course they’re safe for humans. Are your kids happy? Then please don’t make a big deal about it and embarrass anyone, including yourself. |
| I'm not seeing the problem. |
| Why would be they sold for dogs if they were unsafe for humans? If it’s unsafe, it’s unsafe. Clearly they are not unsafe. Yeah, don’t make a big deal. |
| My kids like sitting on the actual dog beds at our relatives houses. It’s fine. |
| Is she hosting you, but lacks furniture to accommodate? She still spent money to keep your kids comfortable, if that's the case be grateful. |
Well for starters most human pillows have that tag that says it's filled with all new Materials ... what are dog beds stuffed with??. |
I don’t know if this is a troll because I can’t imagine someone is so dumb to be concerned about the safety of dog beds for humans. |
Fiberglass and asbestos |
| Let's say they're safe. Is she giving my family a big FU by trying to make them stay on the floor and not use their sofas and lounge chairs? |
| What if she bought these dog cushions specifically for my kids. Kinda rude right? |
| My friend got sick of her toddler and kinder age kids getting into her bed every night, so she gave them extra large dog beds from Costco at the foot of her bed. They had pillows and blankets and they could come sleep in their “nap pods” any time they wanted as long as they didn’t wake her up. |
Are you positive they aren’t small kid size bean bag chairs? |
No. Kinda genius. Way better than buying some stupid toddler bed she’ll never use again. |
