I just don't like that they won't bend over backward to meet my every whim. They act like kids other than mine matter. It's so crazy! |
If I were to list the top MS in the county Frost would be among them, but public education requires you to make an effort to get value from it. |
Our experience has been good to great. Some fantastic teachers and a few duds. Agree that ms curriculum could be more stimulating. Not mcps employee, though I did sub a bit pre covid for some extra cash. Kids went to TPMS and Blair/Wheaton. We are zoned for TPMS and Blair but kids also in magnet programs |
We also found MCPS schools to be great after moving here from Mass. I think a lot of these issues are ones the people involved bring to the table. I mean you only reap what you sow. |
| Every year the first month involves reassessing all students. Then things do go a bit faster. |
| I am not impressed with the curriculum and total lack of homework. But! Dr Jones is amazing. Unlike other schools RFMS is run like a well oiled machine. |
| I had three kids go through there recently. Students are great as are most teachers. Leadership poor. |
| Google the fire drill of June 2010. It shows how inept the leadership is. |
Seriously? You're pissed a bomb threat from 12 years ago didn't go that great because it was hot outside? Only a few entitled parents made a big deal about that day. |
I blame MCPS leadership and will never let go of my many grudges about these small things. That's why I post my grievances here daily! |
What’s the excuse for the people on this thread? |
