Is "trolling the libs", now, the only consistent party platform of GOP

hahahaha and on the other side you notoriously thick-skinned MAGA dummies who cwy cwy cwy whenever anyone is so mean as to suggest that perhaps you're a bunch of racist fools who've been sucked in by the stupidest, most craven carnival barker who ever barked. His face is melting and so are your brains - and also you have zero policy ideas outside of taking away abortion and complaining about caravans.

Remember that time you were going to repeal Obamacare? And those were the SMART guys in your room who pursued that project.

So admitting that’s your main agenda.

Not a great look, btw.

Sure it is.

The laughee is inferior to the laugher.

Not if the laugher does not grasp she/he are sad obsessive hecklers with no alternative solutions for major problems harming democracy, international standing and survival as a species on our shared fragile planet.

Remember when he lied about his inauguration crowds and then punished the country for another six years because we saw the truth and laughed at him?

I will say this for Trump, before he went down that escalator 7 years ago, I thought that Romney, the Bushes, Mitch McConnell, McCain and all of them were fighting for conservatives

now I know were all a joke

(and Trump at least made me laugh)

Appear the trolls are working overtime.

An American president is not there to be funny, the smart ones know that.

When has Trump ever been funny? Even his Al Smith dinner jokes were horrible.

Only Reagan and Trump have quick wit. The others are slow witted.

Over the last five years, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has learned one lesson better than any other national Republican: If you want to go far in the Republican Party, you should emulate Donald Trump in every way possible. He’s pulled out all the stops: His home has been converted into an ersatz shrine to the former president; he’s directed his infant children to “build the wall” out of cardboard bricks and say, “Make America Great Again” in a campaign ad. He has even started talking with a quasi-Trumpian cadence and standing in that weird way where his arms are held awkwardly away from the body—a posture that makes him look a bit like an out-of-shape action figure.

But one of DeSantis’s achievements in his study of the Trumpian arts stands out above the rest. The Florida governor has, perhaps better than anyone in the contemporary GOP, mastered Trump’s main innovation: shitposting as policymaking. He has wrangled with Disney, one of his state’s most important employers, over made-up culture-war beefs about inclusivity and “wokeness.” On Thursday, he arguably took things further than ever, by flying dozens of asylum-seeking migrants to Martha’s Vineyard.

There is no actual point to DeSantis’s actions beyond weaponizing his own petulance—and the fervent hope that somewhere, even if it’s just online, some libs will be triggered. It’s a policy that accomplishes nothing beyond doing a grave indecency to some needful human beings for the sake of a live-action troll job.

And it was a classic Trump move: pointless, cruel, designed only to provoke. Trump’s border wall—still his signature policy—remains the quintessential policy position of the contemporary Republican Party. It is, first and foremost, a troll. It does little, if nothing, to reduce undocumented immigration. It is a metaphor more than a policy, flaunting what purports to be the simple solution to an incredibly complex issue.

Why is US in this precarious point where one major party out of two has given up governance and resorted to "trolling the libs" as its only policy? Where do we go from here. Is US going to die as a country from here onward? Will we be Germany of the past or USSR?

3 Supreme Court picks lost, because Hillary lost to a bozo like Trump! Trump was the only candidate to advocate for lower immigration, only one.

And democrats still have not learned. 2M have crossed the border, highest ever and does not include all the border crossers done illegally. The real myth is that we have a worker shortage and need to import millions of cheap low Wage workers

We graduate 3.2 million new college graduates every year. Yet very few stem majors find jobs in stem careers. Per census bureau, less than a third (28%) of STEM-educated workers actually working in a STEM job.

Anonymous wrote:Cute, OP. You all are so butthurt about what DeSantis did. Y'all hate it when your hypocrisy is on display. You'll get over it.

The Republican Party's platform is one of:

- smaller government
- lower taxes allowing hard working tax payers to keep more of their money
- strong energy policy that uses a VARIETY of energy sources and doesn't rely on green energy
- following the Constitution and not working to eliminate the electoral college or stack the Supreme Court like the Democrats are working to do
- parents involvement in education and that funding goes with the student
- strengthening law enforcement and not defund it like the Democrats want to do
- having a strong defense with the emphasis in the military being on preparedness and not on equity or gender identity or CRT
- and, of course, a secure border. Biden doesn't know the meaning of the word.

There are other items as well. Glad you asked!!!

What a joke!

When Republicans take the midterms I'll be sure to return to say "I told you so."
American voters aren't having what the Democrats are trying to cram down their throats.

Trump got down many womens' throats + no any sane woman does not like it. Time to check your meds + turn off Fox News.

That was Biden, honey.

Bet you can’t find Biden trying to lie about how good he was walking. That’s kinda the point that was made about Trump, ya know? Not the falling part alone.

He just likes to challenge voters to compete with him on push ups or running. And, he lies about how smart he is. We know that from his first two runs for president.
Wish the voter had taken him up on it. That would have been something to watch.

“Look, the reason I’m running is because I’ve been around a long time and I know more than most people know and I can get things done,” Biden responded. “That’s why I’m running. You want to check my shape, let’s do push-ups together. Let’s run. Let’s do whatever you want to do.”

Actually Trump doesn’t understand humor at all due to his lack of empathy and not being able to understand someone else’s perspective. Most jokes go over his head. It’s one of the reasons he tries to monopolize conversations. His humor is of the bullying kind. Just complaining about others.

The writer of his books was very clear in interviews that Trump doesn’t understand humor.
