Only if any Whittle kids transferred in to Maret. It's such a small school (though larger than Whittle of course), that couldn't fly under the radar. The coincidence of the new head and student both arriving from Whittle would be glaring. Of course, it's a private school, it can do what it wants.

Here’s what one could surmise from this board — no clue if any true:
Allegedly:


Inaugural Whittle HOS, now to Maret
Wife in Whittle admin, was on the investment committee as recently as few months ago

Parents investment committee (3 named parents) and the wife plus unnamed others had privileged access to the car crash that are the accounts
Proceeded to allegedly take other parents on the ride so at least some of the investment committee kids could graduate this year

Liability likely all around. Not just Whittle. But what did investment parents know vs what they told others/did? Who supported new Maret appt? Will any Whittle kids end up in Maret and is there a tit for tat at work?

Are there damages to other parents? Yes. Whittle (explained above) and prospective Maret ones who missed out on the spots.

Follow the money and favors and let’s see where it shakes out

There cannot be as many busybodies on this site as this and previous threads seem to indicate. Are these threads made up of just a handful of people with no dog in this fight who are just outraged at this Whittle guy? Why do people care? All the talk of suing parents, etc. It's unhinged.

Yes, parents (but for you 3) are outraged. Yes, some may come for you on civil lawsuits. Yes, there are lawyers willing to do it on contingency.

That's a DCUM classic move. If a conversation is too critical, try to shut it down with ad hominem attacks like "unhinged" to shift the debate from the facts or merits to a personal attack. That's when the facts and merits crowd knows when it has hit a nerve - emotional reactions and diversions.

I’ve taken to using allegedly from another PP or two. To avoid getting sued just in case.

Allegedly it could be said that the Whittle saga is very sad but also very fishy and that much corruption exists. Also allegedly that some of the bridge financing parents are culpable, and could get sued.

Also I’d love to read how and why Maret selection was supported and did any of the wealthy investment parents back it?

I’ve also taken to using allegedly which I picked up from another person because it’s funny and helps paint the farce that this is

I used to check in from time to time for the slow motion train wreck because I know someone with a kid there. But then realized that it was all a bit over the top and it got boring quick. My presumption is that it’s just a couple of current/former staff mainly angry about not getting paid, which is reasonable. The level of presumed conspiracy afoot is wild. A lot of active imaginations.
