Bought some delicious well-made carrot cupcakes over the weekend and we scraped off 80% of the frosting. It was delicious frosting but way, way too much. What is the point? It grosses me out when I see the really over the top mound in a bakery case.

I also scrape off most of the frosting, probably 90% of it.

I only like the frosting.

Frosting is my favorite part - I just eat the very top of the cupcake with frosting, the more the better. And I'm not 16 - I'm 50+. but frosting has always been a weakness.

When I was pregnant, I made butter cream frosting. Just the frosting. Ate a spoonful or two as needed. My husband internally judged me, and his face gave him away. Oh well, I didn't offer to share.

I scrape it off, unless it's homemade cream cheese frosting with the sugar cut down.

I am grossed out places charging $9-11/cupcakes that are mediocre at best and typically pretty bad.

Equally grossed out by people waiting hours for cupcakes just because the cupcakes were on a tv show. TV doesn’t make them taste any better. And no one cares about your 50 follower insta page.

Thirsty society we are.

I hate the frosting on store-bought or bakery cupcakes. Much too sweet. I scrape most of it off. However when I make cupcakes at home, I love the frosting!

Sorry, no, I LOVE it.
