Sounds like everything and the kitchen sink caused this illness according to her. Next thing you know they will claim it’s all about contrails. |
This guy was on psych meds for panic disorder? And when you parents die when you are in your 60s, that’s usually manageable and the natural order |
I can’t help but notice the irony of a guy with a panic disorder being a leading figure who promotes Stoicism. |
| Pretty on brand in this era. |
Contrails are real. Chemtrails are not. |
| Another do as I say not as I do hypocrite. |
There is nothing ironic about it. People who suffer from panic disorder are obviously more likely to have researched and experimented with different ways of treating or managing it. |
They claim that the contrails are actually chemtrails. |
Well it obviously didn’t work so why promote a failed ideology? |
Stoic philosophy has a lot that works for anxiety. CBT owes a lot to Stoicism. The fact that it didn't work for one particular individual doesn't really tell you that it has "failed." And that's without defending Peterson, he's not the place to go to learn about Stoicism, but it does work for a lot of people. |
[i]
It’s as much a failed ideology as cognitive behavior therapy or any modern day therapy. Because much of what we consider effective today is based on Stoicism. |

Article is cancer.
"We figured out that dad has a psych med-induced neurological injury, and has been suffering from akathisia," Akathisia is a medication-induced movement disorder characterized by intense internal restlessness and a compelling, often painful, need to move, frequently resulting in an inability to sit still. Common symptoms include constant pacing, rocking back and forth, shifting weight, marching in place, and swinging or tapping legs. (I don't get it. Sounds like ADHD for adults.) |
| He really lost his mind over the Covid vaccine. |
