Obviously op did the right thing in testing. It’s how we save lives, even if it’s becoming endemic.
For my own sanity, I always imagine it’s one nutter posting the same thing over and over again. Good luck OP. And I wish people would stop posting that false positives are the rarer of the two for at home tests. You’re uninformed. That’s a pregnancy test. |
This is so obviously made up or exaggerated. |
Our public school doesn’t require tests to return and hasn’t had any spread of Covid this year. |
I know you think more people are like you. But I work in a school and trust me most people are not behaving like you. And there still haven’t been any outbreaks. |
Umm. What part is made up? That is my life and not exaggerated..we have family coming in town on the 23rd so we were going to celebrate my husband's uncles bday. My MIL did lose her husband in 9/19 (which I guess yes sorry wasn't last month but feels that way). That is part of why she was coming to visit. And my son's friend's brother does have a heart defect. He is 3 and was vaccinated against the flu but got it and then pneumonia and was in the hospital. But sure why any of that sounds made up. But sure. |
Ok, Donald: “if we didn’t do any testing, we would have very few cases.” |
And yet everything is fine. I know that disappoints you. |
Agreed. Children are going to find our choices repugnant? Do posters actually read what they write and believe it? |
I’m not sure why you leave your house at all. Sounds way too dangerous. |
Really? I genuinely DGAF. Covid is going to spread regardless. Most of the vaccinated will be absolutely fine. So next... |
It’s just undiagnosed and untreated anxiety. They sit at home on these boards and whip themselves into a frenzy. People IRL would think they are crazy so they have to do it here. |
+1. I’m in complete shock how many people still seem to think we are going to “control” Covid, test and quarantine for every case, aim for no cases, etc. indefinitely going forward. That just isn’t realistic or possible. Some people just haven’t accepted it yet. |
At least PP courteously finished their post by personally signing it..."Insufferable". Perhaps Insufferable will return with more pontification soon. |

OP here. This post is so strange. We have been doing playdates and sports and everything. My kids are in school. I even went to the kennedy center twice since they reopened. We aren't living in fear. I just had a feeling something was up and we tested and now we will stay home for 10 days (and my kids miss 5 days of school).
I am really not sure why that is me living in fear or having anxiety or anything. I just knew we had family coming in and to risk infecting them. I don't understand why folks are getting so worked up over the fact that I tested when we are all positive. But go on keep arguing. Have fun. |
Yup. They lash out because they know they are wrong. Feel better, OP. |
