I am voting for White because he listens to parents. He had a whole hearing where parents and teachers testified about bad maintenance in their schools and he worked on fixing that.

I am not reflexively pro-union, but what the WTU and teachers want at my school often lines up with what parents want. I’ll support the union in this. They are helping my kids.

I think it's OBVIOUS that Bowser's plan is to destroy public schools. It's a long game, but once schools are destroyed, all of the white people will move out of DC. This is her end goal.

Trump is not the reason schools here were closed. Anxiety and fear ridden parents and teachers in this area kept schools closed. Otherwise why did schools in Boston, NY, etc. open? They aren’t bastions of trumpers who ignored science.

Not really. Doctors said over and over and over that children belonged in schools. In most of the United States kids were in school, in person, for most if not all of last year.

Here in D.C., we decided that the uninformed fears of the teacher union were more important than the best advice of the medical community. We did the stupid thing. We were the ones who were wrong.

D.C. banned children from going to school for far longer than anywhere else in the United States, with the exception of San Francisco. We were an extreme outlier in how long we kept schools closed. Even liberal Democrats looked at what D.C. did and asked what on earth we were thinking.
