I'm currently listening to 544 Days and I am really liking it.
I'm not a big politics fan and just barely remember when this happened, but Jason Rezaian is the one doing the podcast and he's fantastic at it. A friend told me to give it a shot and I'm glad I did. I'm definitely more of a crime podcast person. This thread is helping me branch out a bit. |
I'm new to podcasts so I have a question. On the app, is there an autoplay feature? When I get to the end of one episode, how do I get it to just start playing the next one? Thanks! |
Me too! |
Which podcast platform do you use? I use Spotify and there's a setting to toggle for continuous play. |
Most delightful podcast episode(s): Alison Brie on the Darkest Timeline with Ken Jeong and Joel McHale |
Reply All “The Case of the Missing Hit” is the single greatest stand-alone podcast episode of all time. (Sadly, it was also their last good episode before things fell apart.) |
Serial, season 1.
Slow Burn -- watergate. |
9/12 |
The Red Scare episode with Nick Mullen. |
I haven't read all the responses so maybe this was mentioned, but I'd recommend Tom Brown's Body. |
Listen to Heavyweight with Jonathan Goldstein. Best episode is episode 1, and there's a follow up to it, episode 9. I also love episode 2. Look them up, they're fantastic single-story episodes. |
Yeah, it's not so great any more. But I agree this is a fantastic episode, as is Boy in Photo. |
Currently listening to the book by his cousin. I am so conflicted - how could he get convicted. What am I missing? He had a terrible lawyer but it appears that there was zero evidence. And yes, I understand there are wrongful convictions all the time. |
