It will go down as one of the greatest eulogies/speeches ever. Cindy McCain stood and hugged him. McCain's funeral may bring the nation together again.
Thank you President Obama. Oh, How I miss him |
Trump is right. He is the shadow president. The country looks up to him. For good reasons. |
I like Obama but I didn’t think it was one of his better speeches. I thought he talked about himself too much. |
Yes. Bush's speech was much better--shorter, too. |
Oh how I miss having a leader that can speak so eloquently! Whose calls for unity he actually means! |
Bush’s eulogy was better, this was not Obamas best speeches. But, how I long for the days of decorum and decency. |
This is a political funeral for the political class to talk about how great they all are. If you think them indulging each other is going to bring Americans together again I’d disagree. |
Apparently, Mrs. mcCain disagrees with you as President Obama is the only 9ne she stood, hugged, and thanked of former president's. |
Sure. But America is united: against Trump and the criminal GOP. |
That’s your bubble take. Few people outside the bubble think politicians are some wonderful class of Americans that must be lauded for running up the deficit and using our tax dollars to pat themselves on the back. R or D. |
I didn't watch as Bush walked down--but, she has certainly hugged everyone else who talked. |
When you are sharing stories of your experiences with another person, it is impossible to not talk about yourself. |
I really hope this unifying service can be a wake up call to all of us. Trump and his minions have sickened us and we need to be well and whole again. |
Great speech! And so was President Bush’s speech. |
![]() And if you want to talk running up deficits and patting themselves on the back with our tax dollars, you’re talking about the GOP. |
