There is a boycott going on of this company after a large GOP donation.

It’s certainly not the first In-N-Out Republican contribution. The fast food chain has a long history of donating to political causes. In 2017 and 2016, the company donated $30,000 per year to the California GOP for general party expenses.
I]t’s not clear that the company’s current leadership is nearly as aligned with the Republicans as that of Chick-fil-A, a company that has publicly come out against LGBT rights. According to campaign finance filings, In-N-Out Burger also donated $30,000 last year and $50,000 this year to Californians for Jobs and a Strong Economy, a political action committee that supports business-friendly Democratic candidates. Oh look, another company that is doing well in a high tax state and that has great pay.
I love in/out burgers. Was in CA last week and had it 2x. I hate Trump but I am not against every R, only Trump and his cult followers. |

I don't agree with this boycott, but if you were fine with GA taking away Delta's tax cuts because they cut ties with the NRA, or Trump telling Americans to boycott Harley, then you are a hypocrite. It's one thing for an average joe to encourage boycotting a company for political reasons, but it's another thing entirely for a POTUS to do so. That's a bigger deal than this In/Out boycott. It's also a big deal that POTUS is telling the public that the free press is the enemy of the people simply because he doesn't like what they say about him. Focus on bigger things, like all the corruption in the WH. |

? I don't see where it shows that Dems are boycotting just for the money. As the article states, IN/Out have given to both sides of the party, so not sure how their boycotting would stop In/Out from continuing to give to Rs as they have in the past. Your post makes zero sense. Like I said, I think this boycott is ridiculous given that In/Out have been giving to both sides for years. |
