I am constantly looking for good summer camps for my DD. This year we tried Bullis and Cathay Future (for the several weeks that Bullis didn't cover). Are there any good quality camps that your children enjoyed during this summer?
This belongs in the camp folder. Creative Summer at Holton Arms |
Strathmore's music camp was great.
My child enjoyed Calleva and CTY.
AGE? Girl Scout camp in Conowingo is great and they offer some transportation as well
This is basically a repeat of the 2018 camps thread. Check that out in camps section.
Loved Kids After Hours
Visarts, Academy of Fine Arts and Bar-T Excursion camps were big hits.
Imagination Stage. My DD loves that place.
My 12 yr old DD loved her Chinese immersion camp through Concordia in northern Minn. She did a 2 week session. It was her first experience being away and she can’t wait to go back. from home
My 4 kids (3,5,7,9) really like Spanish immersion camp at KidsLanguageArts and ice skating camp in Arlington with capital Iceplex in Arlington.
7 and 10 year old boys — Valley Mill.
SSL camps
|
DS (6): baseball camp at Payne Elementary (Cap Hill)
DD (8): SportRock First Ascent camp in Alexandria last year DD liked Valley Mill, but this year she did not want to return. |
She's smart. Outdoor camps can be hard in the heat and the way things went this summer we kind of regret Calleva.
