Do you regularly wear jewelry dedicated or personalized for your children? Why do you do it?

Recently I have noticed a lot of new moms wearing necklaces engraved with their infant's initial. I find it to be very basic/common/#blessed.

I have a ring that I wear but only I know the significance. I bought it when I returned to work and when I feel a little bummed and miss my son I look at it.

Those moms almost certainly received them as a gift. I wear mine because my mom gave it to me, not because it’s my style.

I have rings with their birthstones.

My husband gave it to me to celebrate DS's first Christmas. It hold great sentimental value to me. Not sure what is basic about a small classic pendant necklace, but you do you.

Me too. I picked them out and dh got me for mother's day. They are pretty rings and I get the bonus of smiling from thinking about my kids when I see them (I primarily wear to work).

I have a necklace with five interlocking circles for our five family members. It’s pretty and just my style, if not overtly “family.”

I got a Cartier Trinity ring when I had my baby (3 members of family).

I have a sapphire and diamond eternity band that I got for my first mother’s day. I also have a letter necklace from Tiffany’s with a diamond that I added to it. I actually got it years ago but ironically the letter is the same letter as my kids so it would look like it was a “kids” jewelry piece when in reality it’s a very old piece that happens to also symbolize my kids in initials.

I've wanted to get something like that, but have been waiting until we are done having kids so that I can design it. I guess I'm basic! I already have a wedding ring for my husband and I would like to wear something to celebrate my kids.

Same. The are simple, stacked rings with square-cut stones.

Also - I got the stacked rings rather than one ring with both kids' stones because we were unsure at the time if we'd have a 3rd and this way I could easily add a 3rd (which we decided not to do).
